Create a type face and size option in the edit tools.
Transferred in articles & blogs can include typeface differences that have occurred over time on another site that need fixing without going into retyping tracts of an article of blog.
Annotum does not offer that options, nor does it "standardise" typefaces/sizes in text on conversion. So the outcome can be two sizes of type in one paragraph. Very ugly.

customize review fields/options
Reviewers can accept, require revisions, or reject articles, and are able to fill out a single comment box.
I would like to be able to easily edit these options, for example by adding radio-button style questions to ensure the reviewers address certain key points

allow upload and posting of PROOFED pdfs of accepted and published articles
instead of the "view pdf" option displaying the html version of the article as pdf, I would like to be able to provide a PROOFED pdf with all the formatting etc of a published journal article

provide field for "cover letter" during submission of new articles
when submitting a new article the following fields are currently provided:
abstract

appendicesI'd also like to see a section for a "cover letter" allowing the author to highlight the importance of the article being submitted

allow author/contributor to upload article from file
allow author or contributor to upload their articles for review as pdf or doc (or other filetype)
they can still copy/paste the text into the form using the current system, but also be able to simply "attach" a file with their submission.

Allow rich formatting of references (italics etc)
At present, references (endnotes) do not formatting. Would be great if we could have some formatting options to italicize journal and book titles.

Make more templates for pages
Doesn't seem like the are currently any templates for pages from this point on. Full site view (One column, no sidebar) is one of the only templates for pages I would like to see so far.

Generate a TOC based on headings
Modify the display code (or add a child theme) to generate a Table of Contents based on the headings in the HTML. For example, like this: http://www.jankoatwarpspeed.com/examples/table-of-contents/demo2.html

Save the "last edited" date of knol. Save the comments of knol.
The "first published" date of knol is not displayed. But if exists such date inside system, should extract it and publish in annotum.

Enable HTM for articles
It seems that Posts allow editing in either
Visual mode or HTML mode and that
Articles can be converted to Posts. BUT
Posts do not show on the front page and Post cannot convert to articles, so that

restore Knol's formatting options like centering and extra fonts.
The port from Knol to Annotum preserves most of the formatting — bolding, centering, fonts, etc. — but it gets lost again as soon as you make a single edit, and there doesn't seem to be a way to get centering or anything more than sans serif fonts back.
