Provide for IP authentication for access to protected content
I run a journal which is partially open. It is non-profit, but not free either. We currently offer password and IP based authentication for protected content. Institutional libraries often prefer IP based authentication.

We strongly urge all publishers to use a full Open Access model for content. There are some plugins on http://wordpress.org that may help to provide IP-based access control, but I'd rather see people move toward fewer restrictions on content.
